The apartments form part of BoogieWood in the Binckhorst district. BPD is acquiring 245 homes, with an average floor area of 74 sq m, together with 123 parking spaces and commercial space. The wider project comprises 702 homes. The scheme combines timber construction with the reuse of an existing parking structure.
Strategic context
A committed rental buyer helps establish the ownership and income model before completion.
For the fund, the acquisition provides exposure to future rental income rather than an immediately income‑generating asset, as completion is still several years away. Middle- and free‑market homes allow the fund to target two distinct rental segments within the same development.
The scheme's use of timber construction and existing infrastructure may also support its environmental objectives, although construction timelines, procurement and development costs remain key factors influencing investment returns.
