Beechcroft has secured funding from Close Brothers Property Finance for a £31 million retirement housing development in West Horsley, Surrey. The scheme will provide 45 homes designed for people aged over 55, with the financing supporting the delivery of the project.
Strategic context
Close Brothers and Beechcroft have worked together for more than 17 years, financing over 850 homes across approximately 30 sites. Beechcroft also developed Frenchlands Gate in neighbouring East Horsley more than a decade ago, giving the new scheme a relevant local precedent as well as an established funding relationship.
The investment is aimed at older purchasers rather than conventional rental occupancy, so reservation rates, sales completion and the release of buyers' existing homes will shape cash generation.
