Dunavast has acquired a development site at Hart van Vrouwenakker from Fivente. The scheme will combine accommodation for 20 people with dementia and four independent apartments, including apartments intended for residents' partners or older people with emerging care needs.
Zuiderlink Real Estate advised Dunavast on the purchase.
Strategic context
Dunavast is expanding its existing relationship with De Herbergier rather than introducing a new care model. Pairing dementia accommodation with independent apartments allows partners with different care needs to remain close to one another.
For the investor, the purpose‑built development creates a property tailored to the future operator's requirements, while the small independent apartment component broadens the accommodation offer.
