The transfer covers eight Uliving and four Share properties, including Greystar's existing residence, its enlarged student portfolio comprises 13 properties and approximately 4,100 beds across five Brazilian markets. That figure describes the combined platform, not the acquired capacity alone.
Share properties are expected to adopt the Uliving brand during 2027.
Strategic context
Greystar gains local brands and management contracts without purchasing the buildings. The structure allows it to expand its operational presence, while Patria and Grosvenor retain exposure to rental property assets. Brand integration offers scope to coordinate leasing and resident services across several markets.
For the owners, the commercial benefit will depend on operating performance and effective coordination with the new manager, rather than a change of property ownership.
