The proposed transfer covers residential aged care, home care and accommodation services, with the transfer scheduled to begin on 1 December 2026. Respect intends to expand the existing care home to 80 beds. Current services are expected to continue, with staff to be offered positions under protected employment conditions.
Strategic context
Respect announced a similar proposed transfer involving Alino Living's Rumbalara House and Adelene Village in September, citing investment capacity and operational scale as key considerations. Clifton's provider, established in 1949, says financial and operational pressures led it ti review its operations.
The proposed transaction would add an established regional service to Respect's network and create opportunities to invest in additional care capacity.
