The fund's first investment is a four‑property Spanish PBSA portfolio providing more than 1,400 beds in Madrid, Valencia and Granada.
Its wider strategy targets value‑add and opportunistic rental residential and student‑housing investments across continental Europe and the UK. The fundraising includes associated sidecar investment vehicles alongside the main fund.
Strategic context
The close gives Westwind committed capital to expand its pan‑European living strategy and pursue further PBSA opportunities in supply‑constrained university markets. The Spanish seed portfolio provides immediate operating exposure and reduces deployment risk while the manager builds a broader value‑add platform.
