Varsity on K comprises 197 furnished apartments at 950 24th Street NW, next to The George Washington University and one block from the Foggy Bottom‑GWU Metro station. Originally built in 1983 and comprehensively renovated in 2017, the property offers studios through three‑bedroom apartments alongside study, fitness and resident amenity spaces.
HH Fund, the group's equity investment and co‑development division, completed the acquisition. The property will be rebranded as Haven on K and transferred to HH Red Stone for management as capital improvements are implemented.
Strategic context
The acquisition gives HH Group a third managed asset in Washington, D.C., creating greater local scale across leasing, management and capital improvements. It also takes the vertically integrated platform above $1 billion in assets under management and extends its presence in a supply‑constrained, university‑anchored market.
Rebranding and targeted upgrades provide a value‑add route while the location next to George Washington University supports durable demand. Bringing the asset under HH Red Stone keeps investment, repositioning and operations within the same platform.
