MIPIM ’22: Student Housing, Micro & Co Living Investment
During MIPIM in Cannes, on Wednesday, March 16, Real Asset Media hosted a panel for investors, developers and operators interested in the student housing, micro-living and co-living sectors.
This session, held in person as well as streamed online, was opened by Martin Varga, Head of Bussiness Development, BONARD, with a global market snapshot focused on the recent developments as well as the future outlook for the student housing and co-living asset classes.
He shared BONARD’s latest market data and insights into supply, demand, pipeline, student arrivals and occupancies, rent levels, transactions, yields, student preferences, portfolios and other key PBSA metrics.
Following the presentation, Samuel Vetrak (CEO at BONARD) was further joined by industry experts Rainer Nonnengässer (Executive Chairman at International Campus Group), Jake Jephcott (Chief Development Officer at Olivia Business Centre) and Richard Pilkington (Senior Managing Director, Head of European Real Estate at Cain International) who shared their views on the industry’s recent developments as well as future outlook.
