The unique development, once known as the Sky Building, now offers state-of-the-art PBSA with shared facilities. Deakin’s Yard includes 273 units in a mix of 122 studios with ensuites, 127 large studios with ensuites and kitchens, ten one-bedroom apartments and 14 accessible rooms, with all units now let and tenanted for the 2025/2026 academic year.

US, Harrisburg, PA: Harrisburg high-rise to become senior apartments in $10 million renovation

A Lancaster County nonprofit organization is teaming up with local real estate companies to convert a Harrisburg high-rise building into apartments. Garden Spot Communities, based out of New Holland, is collaborating with Harristown Enterprises and Select Capital Commercial Properties (SCCP) to convert the eight-story, 50,000 square-foot building at 112 Market St. into 39 apartments for adults 55 and over.
