Caliber Living has been appointed to manage three student housing properties in Georgia: 1701 Chandler in Statesboro, 290 Lumpkin in Athens and 740 Techwood in Atlanta. The properties provide 120 beds, 329 beds and 95 beds, respectively, primarily serving students at Georgia Southern University, the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech.
Strategic context
Caliber was appointed to manage The Crossing, a 1,178‑bed student housing community in Gainesville, following Ivy Capital's acquisition in July 2026. Building on this appointment, the new Georgia contracts extend Caliber's management activities across three university markets in the Southeast, expanding its portfolio to include properties of different sizes and local leasing conditions without increasing its property ownership.
For owners, this expansion highlights the manager's ability to apply consistent operating processes, leasing oversight and resident services across a diverse portfolio.
