Source: The Standart
CR Longdation has acquired Hotel Ease Tsuen Wan and Hotel Ease Access in Kwai Chung for HK$440 million. The two properties comprise 330 existing hotel rooms across approximately 157,906 sq ft and are intended for conversion into student accommodation. Hotel Ease Tsuen Wan had previously been marketed as a conversion opportunity by JLL.
Strategic context
The purchase gives CR Longdation additional conversion stock in the same district as its Brim Youth platform and supports operational clustering in Kwai Chung.
It also reinforces Hong Kong's emerging hotel‑to‑student‑housing investment strategy as institutional capital responds to limited purpose‑built supply.
