EIF and CDP commit €60 million to Finint's student‑housing fund

The European Investment Fund has committed €50 million to the Pitagora Fund, while CDP Real Asset SGR has added €10 million, taking its total commitment to €50 million. The new capital brings the fund to €175 million against a €250 million target.
Pitagora targets more than 2,000 affordable student beds and already has projects in Modena, Padua, Pisa and Genoa totalling around 1,100 beds. Finint Investments manages the fund.
Strategic context
The commitments deepen institutional support for affordable student housing in Italy and give Finint additional capacity to move projects from planning into delivery. The EIF's participation also broadens the fund's investor base and supports further deployment in structurally undersupplied university markets.
