Xavier University has finalised a deal to take control of University Station, a mixed‑use development next to its campus. The residential component provides 480 beds above ground‑floor retail.
Xavier is due to take over management for the 2027/28 academic year, when it plans to introduce a university‑specific living programme for third‑year students.
Strategic context
The acquisition gives Xavier control of ready‑made capacity beside campus ahead of its three‑year residency requirement from 2028/29. It expands university‑managed housing without a new‑build lead time and creates a clearer link between the asset's operations and Xavier's student‑retention strategy.
