The properties were bought from Isle of Man based Hencap Housing Properties, who acquired them as part of a £53 million portfolio acquisition in 2017, according to Land Registry.
Strategic context
The assets will form part of MCR’s expanding Flow Student platform, which is targeting 10,000 beds this year.
The acquisition accelerates Flow Student's move from asset ownership into a broader operating platform with multi-city scale. In Preston, it consolidates a large operational bed base quickly rather than waiting for development delivery.
